Terms & Conditions – JA Detailing (Cambridgeshire, England)
1. Booking & Deposits
1.1 A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
1.2 Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
1.3 The deposit amount will be deducted from the final balance due upon completion of the service.
1.4 Prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking. JA Detailing reserves the right to adjust the final price if the vehicle’s condition differs from the description given.

2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
2.1 Customers must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment.
2.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a 35% cancellation fee of the selected service.
2.3 Failure to attend an appointment (“no-show”) will result in a 35% charge of the service price in addition to the loss of the deposit.
2.4 Appointments may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduling within 48 hours is treated as a cancellation, and the cancellation fee will apply.

3. Services Provided
JA Detailing offers the following services (including but not limited to):
• Exterior & interior valeting
• Full detailing packages
• Paint correction
• Ceramic coating application
• Debadging
• Headlight restoration
• Sticker and adhesive residue removal
3.1 Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled vehicles, excessive pet hair, mould, vomit, blood, or hazardous materials.
3.2 For debadging and sticker removals, JA Detailing cannot guarantee the condition of the paintwork beneath adhesives, as fading or damage may pre-exist.

4. Payments
4.1 The remaining balance must be paid immediately upon completion of the service.
4.2 Accepted payment methods include cash, card, or approved digital payment methods.
4.3 Prices include standard labour and materials unless stated otherwise.

5. Vehicle Condition & Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings before the service begins.
5.2 JA Detailing will not be held liable for any loss of personal items left inside the vehicle.
5.3 Pre-existing damage, defects, or wear will be documented with photographs before work begins to protect both parties.
5.4 Vehicles with aftermarket parts or accessories that are loose, unstable, or poorly fitted are the customer’s responsibility. JA Detailing is not liable for damage caused by such components.

6. Liability & Limitations
6.1 All work is carried out with professional care, but JA Detailing is not responsible for:
• Existing scratches, defects, or paint damage
• Electrical or mechanical issues discovered during cleaning
• Paintwork issues resulting from previous poor repairs
• Damage caused by rust, corrosion, or oxidised surfaces
• Paint reactions during sticker removal or debadging due to prior ageing or fading
6.2 JA Detailing will always discuss potential risks before undertaking high-risk tasks such as debadging, sticker removal, or heavily neglected paint correction.

7. Mobile Service Conditions

7.1 JA Detailing may reschedule mobile appointments in the event of severe weather, unsafe working conditions, or inadequate lighting.
7.2 Customers must ensure safe access, sufficient space, and permission to work on the vehicle at the chosen location. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling fees.

8. Aftercare & Satisfaction Guarantee
8.1 Customers must report any concerns within 24 hours of service completion for review.
8.2 After 24 hours, any returns or corrections may incur additional charges.
8.3 JA Detailing provides aftercare advice for services such as ceramic coatings and paint correction. Failure to follow the guidance may affect durability and results.
